Meyâ Mânû Mîze (/ˈmocɪː/ /ˈmɑnʊ/ [polite] [mosquito]) is a temperate Town located in Duzirekisujegez̄u County, Bàze Logu Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Meyâ Mânû Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Meyâ Mânû Mîze was founded by Dho Gadsînka, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Overview

Meyâ Mânû Mîze was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1198, by Dho Gadsînka. The establishment of Meyâ Mânû Mîze was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Dho Gadsînka struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Meyâ Mânû Mîze as a prison colony.

Meyâ Mânû Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Meyâ Mânû Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Meyâ Mânû Mîze is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of crampt baked earthen streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Meyâ Mânû Mîze's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Astonishigly, the monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Meyâ Mânû Mîze, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its god. More than it loves wealth. The town is very clearly poor. Buildings are run down in ways that are not imeadiatly obvious. The people are a bit too thin. The market is very eager to sell to newcomers, but not so eager to buy from them. There’s also a general lack of the hum and buzz of healthy industry in Meyâ Mânû Mîze.

Meyâ Mânû Mîze's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
